We just had to evacuate from our house in Montecito. I wanted to report that I did not know that the El Encanto was part of Andrew Harper (we just rejoined). Our stay there was FABULOUS!! It is an exquisite hotel. right in our backyard. All the people who work there are divine and friendly and the grounds are magnificent. I am so happy that my favorite Hideaway Report and Harper Collection agree with me! I belonged for years and my membership lapsed as our travel slowed down. So glad we rejoined! BRAVO El Encanto!

My wife and I had a wonderful time in Germany. The hotels you reserved for us in Berlin and Dresden were memorable. The Hotel de Rome was ideally located on Bebelplatz and away from all the craziness around the Brandenburg gate and the Adlon Kempinski. The staff was very gracious and our upgraded room was terrific. The real surprise, however, was the Bülow Palais in Dresden. It too was away from all the hustle and bustle across the river. The staff was absolutely fantastic—gracious, charming, and tremendously accommodating.
